ABOUT

Paola Sakr is a Lebanese designer and the founder of the award-winning Studio Paola Sakr, a multidisciplinary practice she established in Beirut in 2016. Her work explores the intersection of materiality, storytelling, and human-centered aesthetics, creating functional objects, furniture, and collectible pieces that blend poetry with practicality.

She experiments with a wide range of materials, including clay, metal, wood, textiles, and more - pushing the boundaries of form and texture to craft meaningful experiences.

From small-scale ceramics to large-scale installations, her projects investigate the emotional and tactile relationships we form with our environments. Now based between Beirut and Dubai, Paola engages in bespoke commissions, develops retail collections, and collaborates with international brands, architects, chefs, and galleries.

Whether crafting tableware, sculptural lighting, furniture, or conceptual installations, her practice is rooted in experimentation, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design narratives.
